Decorative & Printed Glass Film
Privacy, branding, and safety on glass — without giving up the light you paid for.
Frosted, gradient, patterned, and fully custom-printed architectural film, printed and installed by C17 Media.
Glass Offices Solved One Problem and Created Another
Open, glass-walled interiors let daylight through the floor plate and make a space feel larger than it is. They also leave meeting rooms with no privacy, glass walls that people occasionally walk into, and hard, reflective surfaces with no room for a brand to exist.
Architectural glass film solves all three without touching the glazing. Frosted and dusted films create visual privacy while passing light. Printed films turn a partition into a branded surface, a wayfinding element, or a piece of environmental graphic design. Manifestation bands and patterns make glass legible so people stop walking into it.
C17 Media prints glass film in-house and installs it across offices, clinics, retail environments, and institutional buildings throughout Toronto and the GTA — which means the pattern, the density, and the height of a privacy band are design decisions we can actually control, rather than whatever the catalogue happened to offer.

What Our Glass Film Printing Offers
1. Frosted & Dusted Privacy Film
The etched-glass look at a fraction of the cost of actual etching, and reversible. Full-coverage or banded, in varying opacities.
4. Manifestation & Safety Bands
Bands and markers that make full-height glass visible, meeting the practical safety need in a way that looks designed rather than applied.
2. Custom Printed Glass Graphics
Full-colour printed film for branded partitions, feature walls, and environmental graphics — photographic imagery, patterns, or brand marks printed directly to film.
5. One-Way Vision & Perforated Film
Micro-perforated film for storefront glazing: a full-colour graphic from outside, a clear view out from inside.
3. Gradient & Patterned Films
Graduated frost, dot and line patterns, and geometric treatments that provide privacy at seated eye level while keeping the upper glass clear.
6. Wayfinding, Room Numbers & Glass Signage
Cut vinyl and printed room identification applied directly to glass doors and partitions, coordinated with the rest of the building's signage program.

The Benefits of Architectural Glass Film
- Privacy without losing daylight — the whole reason the glass is there stays intact.
- A fraction of the cost of etched or fritted glass — and far cheaper than replacing glazing.
- Reversible and reconfigurable — when the tenant, the team layout, or the brand changes, the film changes with it.
- Installed in occupied space — no glazing removal, no demolition, minimal disruption.
- Fully custom — because we print it, the pattern, density, and coverage are designed for your space rather than selected from a catalogue.
- Safer glass — manifestation makes full-height glazing legible, and safety films add impact resistance.
Privacy Is a Spectrum, Not a Switch
The most common mistake in glass film specification is treating privacy as binary and frosting the entire partition. You end up with a dark meeting room and a corridor that lost its borrowed light.
Banded Privacy at Seated Height
A band at seated eye level blocks the sightlines that actually matter while the glass above and below stays clear. Usually the right answer for meeting rooms.
Gradients and Patterns
Graduated or patterned films obscure detail without blocking light, giving a soft sense of enclosure rather than a wall.
Full Coverage Where It's Warranted
HR offices, clinical rooms, and washroom glazing genuinely need full opacity. We'll tell you which rooms those are rather than frosting everything by default.

Glass as a Branded Surface
Once you're printing the film anyway, the partition stops being a privacy problem and becomes the largest available canvas in the office.
Environmental Graphics
Brand patterns, values, imagery, and typography printed across glass runs — the branded environments angle from the architectural strategy, applied to the surface that's already there.
Photographic & Full-Colour Printing
Full-colour imagery printed to film with the same colour management as our large format work, so the brand blue on the glass matches the brand blue on the wall.
Coordinated Across Surfaces
Glass film, wall graphics, door finishes, and signage produced by one team means the whole interior program reads as designed rather than assembled.
